About This

• Use this fitting to shut off an individual line of drip tape. The barb on this fitting is slightly larger than the a standard 1/4" barb. THE 1/4" BARB END IS NOT DESIGNED TO CONNECT TO 1/4" DRIP TUBING.
• This fitting has a built in shutoff valve which can be used to turn off an individual zone line of drip tape. Punch a hole in the main line tubing, insert the barbed end into the punched hole. Then connect the 5/8" drip tape to the tape end of the fitting.
• To create a tight seal, be sure tape is warm and pliable before attaching the 5/8" start fittings, and end fittings. If leakage continues to occur you may need to further tighten the green lock nut, a 1/4 turn with pliers should be enought to stop the leaking.
• Fits Most Major Brands Drip Tape 5/8" Tubing - Compatible with Irritec, Rainbird, Etc.
• This fitting allows a flow of over 80 GPH at 10 PSI
